We have just upgraded to gold plus, thereby, we need to recoup our capital

and more, to make use of these benefits.

First, we need to experience the new resorts in Dominican Republic.

This was our 5th time in DR.

The first resort was in Miches, one and a half away from Punta Cana airport.

The new Dreams and Secrets resorts were gorgeous and the beach was

swimmable. I really enjoyed my time there.

However, the servers hardly speak english.

It was a challenge, especially for my hubby , who does not speak Spanish.

The next resort is Secrets Royale Beach.. their crown jewel in DR.

It was lovely, a bit crowded though.

The third was Tides resort, a brand new resort.

The beach was full of sargassum.

But, I still enjoyed the resort.

Seafood abound.. fresh fish especially and steaks..!

I guess, summer is not the best time to go to Punta Cana.

All beaches in Punta Cana are not very swimmable because of sargassum.

Yikes.

My next vacation will be different.
